What this mission is about
Blocks make quantities visible. A wall has length and height, a room has floor area, and a tower has volume. Players can predict the number of blocks, build the design and compare the estimate to an exact count. That feedback makes errors useful rather than abstract.

Challenge steps
Design a 12-by-8 room and calculate its floor area and perimeter.
Predict the blocks in walls four blocks high, then subtract door and window openings.
Build a tower at 1 block equals 2 meters and label its model height.
Create a patterned floor with a 2-to-1 ratio of two materials.
Estimate a hill’s height using block steps, then measure directly.
Compare predicted and actual totals and calculate the difference as a percentage.
