Iron Battle is a free real-time strategy game that runs in your browser with no download. You command troops, special forces, tanks, rockets and aircraft on a flat tactical map, hold six objectives and destroy the enemy headquarters. The campaign runs 1,000 operations, and every tenth battle is a secret target mission where a single special forces team sneaks past patrols to take one shot. Units and supply
Supply arrives over time and flows faster for every objective you hold. Spend it on squads and fire support.

Blasts hurt everyone, so keep your own troops clear.
Target missions
Every tenth operation is a stealth mission. You control one special forces team that holds fire, so it cannot win a firefight. Red rings show patrol sight: moving in the open you are seen at 170 m, standing still at 110 m, and still in forest at only 48 m. Get within 150 m of the target with no building in the way, hold still and press T to aim; the shot takes 2.4 seconds and moving or getting hit breaks it. If a patrol spots you, every patrol nearby converges for 12 seconds, so break contact and hide in trees.
Tips
- Take the nearest objectives first; more objectives means more supply, which snowballs.
- Keep tanks on roads and open ground and screen them with rifle squads.
- Save rockets for enemy tanks and the HQ. Rifles barely scratch armour.
- Holding all six objectives is not enough: troops must plant the flag on the enemy HQ to win.

Why can I not see the Deploy button?
On smaller laptop screens the briefing used to push the button off the bottom of the screen. That is fixed: the briefing now scrolls and the button always stays visible.
