Iron Battle Resource Management: A Supply Budget Mission
Practice budgeting supply, timing reinforcements and avoiding purchases without a job.
What this mission is about
Supply is both a number and a set of future choices. Spending everything immediately may create a large force with no flexibility, while waiting too long can leave an objective unsupported. This activity asks the player to create a budget before the operation and compare it with actual decisions.
What kids practice
SKILL 1
Budgeting a limited resource
SKILL 2
Comparing immediate and delayed value
SKILL 3
Keeping a reserve
SKILL 4
Recording why a purchase was made
Set up the mission
Challenge steps
Observe starting supply and list the first two likely needs.
Recruit one unit only after assigning its route or objective.
Keep the agreed reserve through the opening phase.
Record every support use and the result it was meant to create.
At a midpoint, compare the planned budget with actual spending.
After the operation, identify one purchase that arrived too early or too late.
Talk it through
A short explanation turns an exciting moment into a chance to organize evidence and ideas. Ask one or two questions instead of turning the whole session into a quiz.
- What did the reserve make possible?
- Which spending decision had a measurable result?
- How would a different objective change the budget?
